Skills/Experience

  • Have several semester's worth of experience working with 3D printers (FDM, SLA) to create prototypes for studio classes.

    • Currently have access to a FDM Dremel 3D40 Idea Builder 3D printer - uses PLA filament.

  • Proficient in conveying industrial design concepts to others - was a GTA for Sophomore class (Fall 2016).

  • Was a team project lead in recent class studio project (Spring 2017).

  • Have technical know-how with both Mac & Windows.

  • Experienced  in 3D modeling in Fusion 360, 3Ds Max, Maya, Alias, AutoCAD, and SketchUp - attended college courses for all of them.

  • A year of experience working with Autodesk Fusion 360, and advocating it on campus.

  • Proficient in digital and physical sketching, technical drafting, marker rendering, and photoshop rendering.

  • Experienced in making marketing graphics with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign.

Special Recognition

  • Won 1st place in Fusion 360 Bootcamp Team Competition (Aug. 10-12, 2016). Awarded: 3DConnexion SpaceMouse Pro Wireless & all expenses paid ticket to Autodesk University 2016 conference, Las Vegas.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Contracted Fusion 360 Catalyst, TalentWave, Auburn, AL. January 16, 2016 - Continuing; ($25/hr).

  • Intern - Fusion 360 Catalyst, Autodesk Inc., Auburn, AL. May 9, 2016 - December 16, 2016; ($25/hr). Promote awareness and directly encourage the use of Fusion 360 on campus. Deliver on campus training and workshops. Liaise with the Fusion Community Geo managers and build local Social Media buzz. Support for all campus Marketing initiatives. Provide technical support & connections to students & faculty. Recruit Student Experts. Engage with campus Professional Organizations like IDSA, ASME, etc. Engage with Student clubs like 3D Design/Make Clubs.

  • User Interface & Graphic Designer, OCV, LLC, Auburn, AL. November 24, 2015 - September 9, 2016; ($10/hr). Create iPhone & Android user interface mockups, as well as marketing materials, using Photoshop, Illustrator, & Indesign. Helped push for adoption of better purpose built app mockup & prototyping software.

  • Museum Preparator I, Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art, Auburn, AL. August 18, 2014 – May 15, 2015; ($13.51/hr). Prepared & coordinated the installation of art exhibits & assists in maintaining the physical property of museum buildings & grounds. Essential functions included: coordinating & overseeing the preparation of exhibitions to include (but not limited to) the handling, containment, storage, & shipment of works of art; facilitates the matting, framing, lighting, building  of case displays, & any other preparatory work for exhibitions; assists with the physical upkeep of the building as needed; oversees shops for the production of exhibition materials, signage, & frames; cleans & repairs art objects as needed using cleaners, solvents, soap solutions, & polishes; occasionally responsible for training, assisting or assigning tasks to others.
